Training
Fleet Replacement Squadron VFA-122, also known as the ‘Flying Eagles,’ serves as the premier training unit for the United States Navy’s strike fighter pilots. As the Navy’s sole F/A-18 Fleet Replacement Squadron, VFA-122 is responsible for training and preparing the next generation of naval aviators to operate these advanced aircraft with precision and proficiency. With a rich history of excellence and a commitment to producing top-tier combat aviators, VFA-122 plays a vital role in ensuring the readiness and capability of the VFA-22 carrier-based pilots.
